THE TAWARAYA Web, MovieWith more than 300 years of history, Tawara-ya Ryokan is one of the oldest inns in Kyoto. We had the honor of creating its official website. Over the course of 12 months, we filmed scenes of the ryokan and its surroundings, and each time you visit the site, videos for that month plays at random.
Mikurasima WebWe created the portal site for Mikura Island, a remote island in Tokyo with a population of about 300.
SHINYA MATSUYAMA WebWe created the personal website of Shinya Matsuyama, an artist and technical director and the representative of siro.
PLAY with Q Signage, Installation, WebWe created interactive signage content for "Q," the original character for the spherical vision system "LINQ VISION," which has been installed at three locations: JR Osaka Station, JR Kyoto Station, and JR Hiroshima Station. "Q" detects and communicates with people around it, and you can touch it in real time using your smartphone and give it presents.

LINQVISION x PAC-MAN Signage, Installation, WebWe created interactive signage content for the spherical vision "LINQ VISION" installed at three locations: JR Osaka Station, JR Kyoto Station, and JR Hiroshima Station, allowing up to 14 people to play PAC-MAN simultaneously using their smartphones. © Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.
LINQ BOARD Signage, Installation, WebWe created a message board signage content that allows users to leave messages as stickers from their smartphones on the spherical vision "LINQ VISION" installed at three locations: JR Osaka Station, JR Kyoto Station, and JR Hiroshima Station. The posted content is linked across the three locations, so you can also send messages to other locations. In addition, special effects will occur in "Happy Birthday" and "Happy Anniversary" modes, where the text on all stickers will change to the content you entered for a certain period of time, and you will be celebrated with music. We have built an AI-powered censorship system to safely manage user-generated content projected on signage in public places.
NOTES Installation, SignageWe created a work in which motion graphics generated programmatically from musical performance data are displayed on a spherical screen. The visuals are composed solely of the movement and scaling of rectangular forms, yet a wide range of expressions is achieved simply by applying rotational transformations based on an equirectangular projection.
RAY InstallationThree-dimensional forms reveal an infinite variety of expressions depending on the angle from which they are observed. RAY is a work that gives form to these perspectives through shadows, transforming them into a time-based experience accompanied by sound.

STARRYWORKS VI, WebOn the occasion of its 17th anniversary, the design studio STARRYWORKS inc. redesigned its VI, various tools, and website. For the VI, we drew inspiration from parametric design—a method of creating forms by defining algorithms and rules and adjusting parameters (variables)—and produced it by applying this parameter-driven design philosophy to graphic design.
UNMUTE Web, VITogether with Dentsu Lab Tokyo, STARRYWORKS inc. has launched "UNMUTE," a new sound design solution that integrates the expertise in interaction design and sound design that the two have cultivated through their collaborations to date. UNMUTE aims to "unmute" a world that has paid little attention to sound, and—by actively harnessing sound as a medium—to design experiences that are more beautiful, vivid, and exciting.
snd.dev WebWe created "snd.dev," a website that offers UI sound assets created by sound designers free of charge and license-free. We also developed a JavaScript library that makes it easy to embed these sound assets into websites and apps, along with the original typeface used on the site.
nanoniwa WebWe created the website for "Nanoniwa," a new commercial facility in Naniwa-no-miya Park. Using illustrations and animation, we expressed the lively atmosphere of people enjoying themselves, and—drawing on the site's historical character—created the feeling of traveling back in time from the present into the past. The main visual also changes to a nighttime scene depending on the time of day, conveying an atmosphere of the park that differs from daytime. Viewing the entire surrounding area as one large garden, we also developed a feature introducing the appealing people of the neighborhood, aiming to raise the value of the whole community.
town WebWe were in charge of creating "town," a brand website that summarizes the stories of towns and people along the Odakyu line. In order to intuitively convey the fact that the site is a story of towns and people, the focus shifts from towns (background) to people, and from people to towns.
Awaji Island 8k MovieWe filmed an 8K promotional video showcasing Awaji Island for inbound tourism.
TRAILBLAZER Web, VIWe produced the CI, website, logo motion, tools, and more for TRAILBLAZER Inc., a new JR West Group company established to secure and develop advanced digital talent. The company name is embedded in the logo as binary data, so that engineers can "decode" it. The site's key visual expresses the mission of "taking on challenges from the future with all of JR West's digital assets," depicting railways and cities being transformed into data.
Philosophia WebWe created the website and VI for Philosophia Inc. The logo is designed to feel seamlessly connected throughout the site. For the recruitment page, we focused on the lives of the staff, conducting interviews and photo shoots.
DRIP InstallationThis project was exhibited at dotFes 2019 OSAKA, a web creative festival held on November 17, 2019. It is an installation of black and white portraits expressed with water and ink.
Hue Coffee Roaster AppWe established a subsidiary, Hue Inc., and held the pre-opening of "Hue Coffee Roaster," a café where you can choose coffee by "color." For the opening, STARRYWORKS developed an original app, realizing a fully mobile-order café where customers can complete both ordering and payment entirely from their smartphones.
PR EDGE VI, WebWe created the brand name, logo, and website for PR EDGE, a media that introduces PR, advertising, and promotion case studies from Japan and abroad. PR EDGE is a newly launched database content for PR professionals, merging "AdGang" and "BuzzGang" which were operated by PR TIMES Inc.
Encyclopedia of Desire Web"Encyclopedia of Desire" focuses on Internet search data and collects words and phrases that are searched daily by people in various locations around the world and in various languages. It is an "Encyclopedia of Desire" that is automatically compiled daily based on this data.

We produced a promotional movie featuring a guest appearance by world-renowned break dancer Taisuke, and a song by Juicy of HIFANA that sampled the sounds of fishing.The web site implements a sampler & sequencer with fishing sounds and images.
rainy App, WebThis is an application that attempts to scientifically and statistically define rain men and rain women by using location measurement technology with smartphones and precipitation data released by the Japan Meteorological Agency.

PLAYFUL BOOKS App, ProductPLAYFUL BOOKS – Magical Picture Books Designed to Enhance the Reading Experience with Smartphones. Specialized picture books that combine with smartphone capabilities elevate the traditional reading experience. Sound effects, background music and lighting that are tailored to the page being read enhance the experience. Also interactivity such as a response to knocking on the page create a new and fun way for young readers to fully enjoy books. We are going to offer two picture book titles for purchase in late October: "Have You Seen My Crayons?" and "Knock Knock Knock". Now accepting pre-orders.
Magic Snow Dome Installation“Magic Snow Dome” was an interactive display. Snow rose when someone moved in front of the window. There were also light and sound effects. It was displayed in December 2014 at Grand Front Osaka.

DANCE InstallationThis was a project for our firm’s 7th year anniversary. The concept was “DANCE”, which goes beyond words, religion, culture, and age, and is one of the most ancient and instinctive activities. We opened a special and experiential exhibition with nine interactive works, which synchronized into one piece of music, using visual elements, lighting, and custom made input devices. The visitors could control the time axis of all of our works using a turntable that was playing the music inside the exhibition hall, and we also had visual works that attendants could participate in. For the invitation, we used an analog recorder. It was also the event’s main motif. We experimented with originally developed software, which controlled the sound waves and put graphics on the records.
